Selling on Amazon Handmade:
I've shared many tips and tricks for selling on Amazon Handmade in past blog posts. With it now being 2022, almost 7 years since Amazon Handmade first launched, I wanted to write a new blog post for anyone now considering selling on Amazon Handmade.
Since the very beginning, I've been selling on Amazon Handmade and have helped hundreds of handmade business owners learn more about the platform through my Facebook Group, blog, online course, and mentoring.

Before you jump into applying and deciding to sell on the platform, consider some important things when figuring out if Amazon Handmade is suitable for you and your business.
Amazon Handmade vs Etsy
When it comes to selling handmade goods online, only two major platforms come to mind: Amazon Handmade and Etsy. They are both great platforms with a lot to offer sellers, but they also have some key differences.
In 2022, the two platforms are still pretty evenly matched for most handmade sellers. I recommend both platforms and testing out where to put the majority of your focus moving forward after you've dedicated some time to learning both handmade platforms and how they work.
I sell on both platforms, and I've seen first-hand that there is a market for handmade goods on both Amazon and Etsy. However, it's important to remember that they are two very different platforms with different audiences.

Now that you know a little more about Amazon Handmade and how it works, you might be wondering if it's the right platform for your handmade business.
